July?! When did this happen? I swear we just took down the Christmas tree…
1) I’d like to knock off 5 more lbs this month. With Weight Watchers my goal is always 1lb per week but with the amount of exercise I’m putting in I feel like I should be able to get at least 5.
2) Increase my intake of water. I’m notoriously bad for not drinking enough water.
3) Cook more, eat less frozen meals. Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones are becoming a staple in my freezer and I need to be a little more creative. The only problem is, when do I find time to cook?
4) Hit 70 miles this month. I banked 60 for June so we’ll see.
There’s so much more I want to accomplish but I’m trying not to set so many goals that I end up abandoning them all.
Also, I go in for surgery this month to have my gallbladder removed. Friday the 13th is surgery day (thanks for that, nurse!) and I’d be lying if I said it’s not making me nervous. I feel like I’m in a good place right now in regards to my health and I don’t want to derail from the forward progress I’m making. Sometimes I realize I don’t give myself enough credit: why do I automatically assume I’m going to fail?
